Katie grew up in Winfield, Indiana, where she graduated from Boone Grove High School in 2010. She is a graduate of Indiana University Northwest with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Katie has been a member of the VB&K team since 2012. Away from work, you can find her spending time with her daughter. She enjoys cooking, reading and watching scary movies.
Caitlin has been in the dental field since 2017 and joined our team in 2020. She loves being able to help patients. In her time away from the office, Caitlin enjoys riding horses, taking care of her other animals, traveling, and checking off all the national parks on her bucket list.
Chuck has been a member of the Van Buskirk & Krischke DDS, LLC team since 2007, providing support services for the rest of the staff and also for the health fairs the team participates in. A Crown Point native, he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from DeVry University and spent 25 years as a technical sales representative in the military defense industry. He holds a real estate broker’s license in the state of Indiana. An avid cyclist, Chuck enjoys any outdoor activity and once rode 117 miles in a single day. He also performs charity work through his Lions Club chapter.
An Indiana native, Helen graduated from Indiana University Northwest with a degree in science and dental hygiene. Later she received her license in massage therapy. She has been a member of our team since 1995. She has a great ability to relate to patients and strives for perfection when it comes to their needs and dental care. She is interested in travel and photography and enjoys spending time with family and friends. An active member of her church, she loves volunteering. She is also a member of the local women’s philanthropic organization Tri Kappa. She lives in Crown Point with her husband.
Ann grew up in Hobart, IN, where she graduated with honors from Hobart High School. She was president of her Indiana University Northwest dental hygiene class, and she received the Edward J. Farrell Award for academic excellence upon graduation in 1993. She served as vice president of the Northwest Indiana Dental Hygienists’ Association. She started out as a dental assistant in 1989 and has been a hygienist since 1993. She joined the Van Buskirk & Krischke DDS, LLC team in 2008. She returned to IU Northwest to earn her dental anesthesia license in 2015. Ann is meticulous in taking care of her patients. She loves making them comfortable and making them laugh. Ann lives in Crown Point with her husband and her son. They are all avid Disney fans and enjoy traveling together.
Sonia joined our team in 2018, but she’s been improving patient smiles since 1986. She loves working with her patients and making them smile. In her time away from the office, Sonia enjoys baking.
Annette has been a dental assistant since 1988 and has worked with us since 1994. She has an associate’s degree in dental assisting and is X-ray certified. She enjoys building relationships with patients, soothing the nerves of those who are fearful, and improving smiles. In her free time, she likes gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Jill was born and raised in Griffith, IN and still lives there with her husband and three children. She attended Indiana University Northwest and has worked at Van Buskirk & Krischke DDS, LLC since 2005. She enjoys spending time with patients and getting to know them. Away from work, she can be found spending time with her kids, traveling, and being outdoors.
Raised in Indiana, Sara graduated from Crown Point High School in 2009. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Northwest dental assisting program and has been part of our team since 2013. She finds being a dental assistant an incredibly rewarding career and enjoys being part of improving patients’ smiles. Away from the office, she likes spending time with family and friends, especially when it involves fishing, baking, or playing video games.
Gina’s dental career began in 1983, and she joined our team in 2020. The best part of her job is communicating with her patients. When Gina is away from the office, she enjoys jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, bike riding, and gardening.
