I needed crowns because after 10 pregnancies the amount of morning sickness that I faced and the acid that has been in my mouth has made some of my molars crumble. So Dr. Van Buskirk and Dr. Krischke have been able to assess that and then come up with a treatment plan to replace them as needed, not beforehand. So they’ve been able to get me in and improve my bite in such a way that I can still chew and nothing has been eliminated, no problems.

One thing that has really impressed me by Dr. Krischke is that he has maintained a schedule with my insurance company to make sure that the major costs are covered. I’ve had several instances where my teeth have crumbled and they’ve had to have a crown put in and he makes sure that you space those out according to what my insurance company needs. He’s also worked with my insurance company as far as braces have gone for my children. Our insurance company does not cover braces, but Dr. Krischke has made sure to have the treatment plans approved ahead of times for our children. So he’s worked with them to send in x-rays and pictures of their bites and even impressions so that they understood it wasn’t just a cosmetic thing that we were trying to get fixed, but there was issues with the way their teeth were formed or their bite was created. One of our daughters was a preemie, and she was born with a very narrow palette. She’s now 13 and has an amazing smile because Dr. Krischke worked with her.

I’ve had issues in the past where I’ve had crowns done and root canals done, and it always starts with your tooth starts bothering you, it starts to ache, it doesn’t feel good. I mean you can even call here and say, “Hey, something’s wrong with my teeth,” and they will get you in as soon as possible. They’re very good with that.

With those, all the root canals that I’ve had in the past, and then the three that I’ve had here, I’ve had the best experience with the three that I’ve had here. Very little pain afterward, and then the one time that I did have a lot of pain after the root canal, they treated it immediately. They did call in some prescriptions for me and I was taken care of right away. I mean, they treated it right away. I didn’t have any adverse effect from it, and the root canals that I have had done here have had the best outcome that I’ve had from even my prior ones.

Well, I only recently started since about 2016. And broke a tooth and it took me several months to call because I didn’t have a lot of pain, but I knew that I needed to get it repaired and I started seeing Dr. Krischke. I got comfortable with him and had to get my teeth cleaned and I was thinking, “I’ve never went to the dentist unless I had pain. So why would I come in and get my teeth worked on or checked if I’m not in pain?”

But he’s been very good and worked a lot of magic that he helped me get over my fears of being with the dentist and he was very patient with me. If you had a worst case scenario in the dictionary, there’s my picture. But he didn’t use that as, put fear into me and he was always very comfortable. And was I feeling pain while he worked on my teeth. He was very proactive of antibiotics and released me of fearing going to the dentist. So now I come in every six months for my teeth to be cleaned, whether I’m in pain or not. And I think that’s a tribute to him.

What sets this office apart from others, Dr. Van Buskirk and Dr. Krischke’s offices, is that they give you quality care, they get you in, the time they get to spend with you in order to get things done, is always high quality and I recommend this to my friends and family members, and they are just the top of the top.

Being here, coming to this office for over 30 years to get our dental treatment, has been phenomenal. I have trust in them and trust in them with my children, my parents, and other family members and friends. Coming here, we get the top notch care from just having our six month visits, whether we have to have more intense care, they do everything precisely. Everything’s so positive about it. There’s no aftermath or anything like that. They get it done and if there is a problem, they take care of the situation the best way they can, and it’s top notch.

Being part of the family here and the loyalty that I have for them and how they treat you and recommending people to come here, I think it’s just great. It’s one big happy family.

I’ve been coming here ever since I went to a dentist, which is 23 years. I would never go anywhere else. When I went to school, when I went to college, I would fly back here for my appointments. He’s an awesome dentist. I can really trust him. He gives me his honest opinion about, you know, whether I actually need work done or not. I never have to worry about if he’s giving me an opinion based on money or something like that. I really can trust him with that, which is really important for me ’cause I have friends that go to the dentist and they end up getting a lot of work done and it’s in question whether or not they actually need it or if it’s because … for other reasons. It’s really great that I can trust him in that way.

First time I came here, they made you feel at home. They wanted to know a little bit about you, almost like wanted to create a family atmosphere and it’s been that way ever since. It’s, dare I say, enjoyable to come to the dentist by the way you’re treated here. From the ladies at the front desk to the hygienist, to the dental assistant, to both doctors, just a great place to be. And they do extraordinary work and they’re just true gentlemen and I love their, both of their senses of humor. Everybody in my family comes here and has this exact same thing to say. They love their sense of humor. They make you feel relaxed when you’re going to have a procedure. We tell jokes in between. We just share things with the dentist and the hygienist and you feel like you’re family when you walk in. You walk in and they call you by your first name. You feel like they know you.

A few years ago, I had a tremendous pain in my jaw and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong and it was really debilitating. And so, it was on a Sunday and I called the line for here thinking somebody would call me back on Monday. Dr. Van Buskirk called me at my home, met me here and treated me and that was four years ago. I’ve never seen a bill. They’re here to do the work and do the work well. I don’t think it’s something that they look at as, how can we make more money? It’s, how can we do a good job for our patients? Really appreciate these folks.

I had traditional braces and he just like every month when I came in just made sure that everything was going good and changed my wires. And originally I had a tooth in the middle of my mouth and then I … it’s now in the front and everything. It was really smooth. Like I thought it was going to be very crazy because my teeth were awful, but he actually made it really smooth and it went a little bit longer than we thought but that’s because things came up that we didn’t know were going to come up and like I had baby teeth that had never fallen out so he had to pull those.

And so I think it just was like it went longer but they came out better because it went longer. In the beginning I didn’t want to take pictures. My dad had printed a picture on a blanket for my mouth. I was like, “No, that’s not going to work.” I don’t like smile and now like I’m always smiling and I’m a lot more happier and confident like in school or in public.

I would recommend here because they are just always so nice and everything they do comes out fantastic. You won’t regret coming because they’re … they tell you if something’s going to hurt and usually nine times out of 10 it doesn’t hurt. You don’t feel anything. If you’re looking for somewhere where you’re going to be relaxed, calm and everybody’s nice, this is a really nice place to come to.

For one, I think, Mark goes about dental work a little different than some dentists. Some dentists, I think, have to do dental work to exist, but I think, Mark comes to his job, doing dental work because he enjoys it. He enjoys seeing people, so he doesn’t make you feel like you’re a burden, and he cares. Yeah, I think that, in a business that it always starts at the top … the energy … and it rolls down all through the staff. I think, that the whole entire office takes on a, really, pleasant atmosphere, that you can come to if you have a problem, you have a question on a bill, and you never have a problem. Everybody handles it professionally and willingly.
Dental offices could, when I was younger, make me, kind of, get the shakes before I get there, because you know there’s a chance that you might have something that needs to be done. You can get a little anxiety over it, but now it’s, like I, kind of, look at it as my day out. “Oh, I’ll go visit everybody at Dr. Mark’s.”

I’ve been coming here since I was 18, and it’s always easy to get into. The staff is very friendly. They’re very professional. Mark’s like the best dentist I’ve ever been to. My family had a dentist prior to Mark as I was growing up, and you can’t even compare the service that we got. My entire family, my mom, my dad, my brothers, all their kids come here. Mark’s just really professional, and he makes sure if you have a problem, or you’re in pain that he gets right back to you and takes care of it.

I’ve called him on the weekends. I one time cracked my tooth on an olive pit. He was here immediately. You call into the office, if it’s an emergency, they give you another number, he calls back immediately. It’s not like I waited six hours or anything like that. He realizes that teeth pain, when you have a problem, can be very very painful, so it’s not something that he’s ever let slide to the back burner, and he’s just super professional. Now that I’m older, I’ve gotten six veneers on the front of my teeth. The whole process from that was amazing.

He just is super professional, and I think he’s better than just an average dentist because he has an eye for things, for detail, and he works on cars himself, so I think any time you’re a body man that works on cars, you know detail, and you know paint and smoothness, and he really goes after the finest finish on your tooth, the right color, the right smoothness, the right length, depth. Yeah, he’s’ a really great guy.

I’ve been coming here over 20 years. I was remembering that I came here before I got married and my husband actually went to a different dentist. Once we were married, I said, “You really should come to my dentist.” He was probably my first referral of dozens of people that I’ve referred to the practice. He had seen a dentist for a cavity and our insurance, it said that his pricing was above what they paid. So he came here and the doctors informed him that he didn’t even have a cavity. So he’s been coming ever since and then as we’ve had children, they’ve been great with my kids. They had a lot of cavities when they were little and were over that with good hygiene and lots of tips from the doctors. Now they’re teenagers and they don’t mind at all coming to the dentist. They’re just very friendly. From the minute you walk in the door, the receptionists are so nice. The hygienists are nice. The doctors are nice. Just from one to next.

They’re very friendly. They make you feel very comfortable. You don’t wait a long time in the waiting room. So for people who are nervous about going to the dentist, they don’t have to worry about that. They bring them back. There’s a TV. They can just relax. They make you feel very comfortable.

But I had to come back in, they got me right back in the next day, filed it down a little bit, fixed it, and it was good to go. Because I was going on vacation and he said, “We don’t want you spending a week with this pain.”

But they made sure it was really good and numb. The whole thing wasn’t as long and drawn out as I thought it would be. I honestly had no pain. I thought it was going to be really traumatic, and there really wasn’t any pain or anything. So yeah, just again, they’re very calming and easy to work with. So it was like, I was surprised. I would definitely encourage people to come here because it’s, again, the whole office is just comfortable, it’s homey feeling, the staff is great, the hygienists are great. You know, the dentists, they set up a plan for you, they look at everything, they set up a plan, and they work with you through that. You know, they know, the office staff knows, here’s what your entrance is going to take care of, here’s how we can do this. They’ll start working with the crucial stuff first, and then go as we need to, to cover everything. It’s just a really very professional but very friendly.

I’ve had cavities filled. He’s replaced silver fillings from when I was a kid. I’ve had a few crowns taken care of. I’ve come in for extreme jaw pain, which was a blocked salivary gland, which I had never heard of. And his prescription was to go get Lemonhead candies, which miraculously cured me by the next day.
So he just has a lot of information, is very informed and I totally trust him with our dental health for our family. Just that they’re so nice here, that I love the hygienists, I love the dentists, they’re very accommodating. I’ve had to call the doctor at 8:00 on a Sunday morning he’s met here when I’ve had a crying kid all night with a toothache. He’s met me at 10:30 at night on a Sunday when I had a 5-year-old that was flashlight tag and got his tooth knocked out. They’re very accommodating.

Ever since I was a little kid I’ve been going here for just like cleanings and all of that. Also, I recently got four veneers and so I would say that improved my smile. I decided to because actually my mom did and I really liked how it looked. Dr. Mark, he is kind of a perfectionist when it comes to his teeth work which I value a lot. He wouldn’t let me get the veneers if I wasn’t a good candidate for it so that’s nice to know because, yeah, he definitely didn’t force it upon me. I came to him after I saw what a great job he did on my mom’s teeth.

I just kind of discussed it with him. He kind of gave me an example like put in a temporary set and I was like, “Whoa, I really like how this looks.” So, right now I have four actual veneers and then the side teeth are temporary ones and in a week or so the actual tooth is gonna come in, the actual veneer. Then I’ll have the full set that I wanted. Really easy and pretty standard, they’ve got it down pat now. I was pretty confident before, but now it’s just a little extra bonus. I probably smile a little bit more because I have them.

I would justify close enough, like up to an hour and a half and actually I do have friends that come to me and since I’ve gotten my veneers and they’re like, “Where did you get those done?” I’m like, my family dentist. I’ve been going to him for years. I just tell them if they want a dentist they can really, truly trust then he’s the person to go to.
