Are dental veneers painful?

The process for getting your brand-new veneers should be pain-free. For some types of veneers, we may need to get rid of a little tooth enamel to make space for them. But because there are no nerve endings in your enamel, it's painless. If you're nervous about getting your new veneers, talk to us about your concerns and what we can do to make you feel more comfortable.

How long do dental veneers last?

The majority of our patients can expect their veneers to last for a minimum of 10 years. Certain aspects do impact longevity, including your oral care regimen and the kinds of foods you consistently consume. If you tend to eat lots of crunchy, hard, or chewy foods, your veneers may not last as long.

Can dental veneers be repaired?

Although it is possible to damage a veneer, it isn't that common. We may be able to repair your veneers if the damage is small. If your veneer comes completely off, just wrap it in a soft tissue and bring it with you to the office so we can reattach it. If your veneer is not repairable, we will create a new one that matches it perfectly.
